EMERALD (BERYL)
Blue Nile Trading specialises in sourcing rough and polished emeralds (beryl) from the recently discovered mine deposit in Southern Ethiopia. Our team works closely with jewelry companies and collectors to provide high-quality, custom-made faceted emeralds.
The Ethiopian material is unique, with a medium grassy-green color and a hint of blue, which is comparable to emeralds found in the Chivor region of Colombia. Additionally, the material can be oiled using natural cedar oil and results in fine gems.
