EMERALD (BERYL)
Rough and polished Ethiopian emeralds from the recently discovered mine deposit in Southern Ethiopia. We source rough and cut and polish custom-made faceted emeralds for jewelry companies and collectors.
The Ethiopian material is unique and comparable to emeralds from the Chivor region in Colombia. In general, this material has a medium grassy-green with a touch of blue and produces very fine no-oil gems. The material also oils well using natural ceder oil.
